PRODUCTS – LOOSE EMERALDS & JEWELRY
We sell natural loose emeralds and fine jewelry.
You understand and accept that:
Natural emeralds may contain inclusions (“jardin”) and natural internal features.
Color and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting and screen settings.
Unless explicitly stated on the product page, emeralds may have received common industry treatments (such as oiling), which is standard for emeralds.
Product descriptions, images, videos, and certificates (when included) are provided to help customers make informed decisions. We aim to display products as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee identical perception across all devices.
PRICING
All prices are shown in EUR and may change at any time without notice.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, product description errors, or listing mistakes. If a correction affects your order, we will contact you and offer the option to confirm at the corrected price or receive a full refund.
ORDERS
Placing an order constitutes an offer to buy. We may accept or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or product availability issues.
An order is considered confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation email.
PAYMENT
Payments are processed securely through Stripe / PayPal / bank transfer / other.
We do not store full payment card details.
For fraud prevention and high-value orders, we may request additional verification (identity confirmation and/or address verification).
SHIPPING
We ship from France to France / Europe / UK / Switzerland / Norway / Worldwide (on request).
Shipping times are estimates and can vary due to carrier delays, customs processes, weather, or peak seasons.
Tracking and insurance are provided whenever available, depending on destination and shipment value.
For security reasons, certain orders may require signature upon delivery and may only be shipped to the billing address. We may refuse address changes after an order is placed.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES
International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, or customs fees determined by the destination country. These charges are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in our prices.
RETURNS & REFUNDS

Important note for loose emeralds:
Due to the sensitive nature of loose gemstones (risk of swapping, damage, or alteration), loose emerald sales are generally final except in the following cases:

Approved returns are only accepted if the stone is returned in original condition and passes inspection upon arrival.
Jewelry returns:
Eligible jewelry items may be returned under the conditions defined in our Store Policy.
CANCELLATIONS
Orders can be cancelled only if they have not yet shipped. If the order has already shipped, the return process (if applicable) must be followed. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at info@lacitoyenne-emeralds.com.
AUTHENTICITY, CERTIFICATES & RESPONSIBILITY
If a certificate/report is included, it will be stated on the product page and included with delivery.
We do not guarantee that every stone will include a third-party certificate unless explicitly stated.
You are responsible for verifying that the product meets your needs before ordering (size, shape, color preference, treatment preference, etc.). If you have questions, contact us before purchase.
DISCLAIMER – INVESTMENT / RESALE
Our products may be purchased for personal use, collection, or professional purposes.
We do not guarantee future resale value, investment performance, or price appreciation of gemstones or jewelry.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
